As a graphic designer, I have worked in many different capacities throughout all phases of the design development cycle—from initial research and analysis, through graphic design and the creative process, and finally production, both for print and web.

Most recently, I spent three years as the sole in-house graphic designer for a software development firm. In this role, I had the responsibility for the conception, design, and production of all print and web creative projects, including the redesign and implementation of a new corporate website, quarterly newsletter, and all event graphics and presentations.

I have had the chance to focus on the graphic user interface design and html production of websites, including developing site information architecture, creating and optimizing site graphics, writing html code, and developing detailed style guides to document the use of color, typography, navigation, and page layout throughout sites, as well as provide specifications for image production.

Prior to working in web design and production, I spent several years working in marketing for a professional services firm, and over five years in visual communications for major retailers including Mervyns, the Discovery Channel, and Williams-Sonoma. This depth of experience provides insights and unique perspective into the strategy and design phases of a project.
